Template · pending legal review. This document describes how Meatware intends to handle your data and account and is published for transparency ahead of a wider launch. It is not a substitute for professional legal advice.

01

Agreement to these terms

By creating an account or using Meatware, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Meatware on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

02

What Meatware is

Meatware is an AI-assisted project-planning and execution tool for solo developers. It unifies planning, documentation, and execution, and supplies context to your AI coding assistant so it understands your project.

03

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 16 to use Meatware. Provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly at hello@meatware.ai if you suspect unauthorized use.

04

Your content and ownership

You retain all rights to the code, plans, diagrams, and context you bring to or create in Meatware (“your content”). You grant us only the limited license needed to host, process, and display your content in order to operate the service for you. We claim no ownership over your content.

05

Bring-your-own Claude key

Meatware uses your own Anthropic Claude API key. You are responsible for your Anthropic account, its usage costs, and complying with Anthropic's terms. AI output is probabilistic and may be incorrect — review it before relying on it. Meatware is a tool, not professional advice.

06

Acceptable use

  • Don't use Meatware for anything unlawful or to infringe others' rights.
  • Don't reverse-engineer, resell, or sublicense the service except as the law allows.
  • Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or circumvent the security of the service.
  • Don't use the service to build a competing product or model-training dataset.
07

Plans, trials, and billing

Meatware offers paid subscription plans billed monthly, each backed by a dedicated workspace box. No card is required up front to create an account. Paid subscriptions renew until cancelled. Applicable taxes may apply, and we will give notice before any price change affecting you.

08

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel anytime. Monthly plans stop renewing immediately and you keep access through the end of the paid period; your project data exports in standard formats. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

09

Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Meatware available and reliable, but we may modify, add, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that AI output will be accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.

11

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meatware and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12

Termination

You may stop using Meatware and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service.

13

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will revise the “last updated” date above and provide reasonable notice. Continuing to use Meatware after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
